Peter is a seasoned insurance professional with more than three decades of experience across every facet of the industry. As a Senior Associate of the Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Certified Insurance Professional and a Qualified Professional Insurance Broker (QPIB), Peter combines deep technical expertise with a relentless focus on client service.
 
In 1989 he founded Genesis with the mission of delivering tailored insurance and risk-management solutions to growing small and medium-sized enterprises. From its origins serving a handful of local businesses, Genesis has expanded under Peter’s leadership into a nationally recognized practice with a growing international clientele. His approach is built on forging close, personal relationships—listening carefully to each client’s needs, designing bespoke policy programs, negotiating favorable terms with underwriters and managing every step of the placement process. Whether you’re an emerging startup or an established enterprise, Peter will develop and implement a risk-management strategy that safeguards your assets, your people and your future.

Kellie Sutika

Kellie joined our team at Genesis Insurance Brokers Australia in February 2016 bringing with her a wealth of insurance expertise.

Having lived and worked in Darwin for some years, she permanently moved back to the Gold Coast with her young family. She has more than 14 years experience in the insurance industry, initially within Personal lines and as a Claims assistant while studying for her Diploma in 2008, and now as a qualified Broker.

Kellie has developed strong broking business relationships with her clients and specializes in SME, contract works and construction insurance, to name a few. She is NIBA accredited with a Dip. Fin. Serv. (Insurance Broking).

Steph is a recent addition to the Genesis team and has quickly become a highly valued member. She has an experienced international insurance broker background, having built her expertise in New Zealand before relocating to the Gold Coast.

Steph’s deep technical knowledge and her ability to accurately assess clients’ needs enable her to provide tailored, effective insurance advice—no matter the size or complexity of the requirement. 

She is known for her clear communication style, strong client empathy, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. Her honest and proactive approach helps build lasting client relationships. Steph approaches challenges with practicality and efficiency, leads by example, and consistently delivers timely solutions.

Tracey is our newest addition to the Genesis family. Tracey immediately displayed her professional manner, customer service (form firm relationships with clients and insurers), strong attention to detail, accurate and precise data entry and processing of accounts. 

Tracey has a proactive approach to problem solving and negotiation, working to timeframe/deadlines/ability to prioritise tasks under pressure, IT proficient with the ability to adapt to new programmes, ability to communicate with clients face to face and by telephone, general office duties as required..

Going direct to an insurance company may appear cheaper to you but without the specialist interpretation of the product, the policy you are about to purchase may not be adequate to your specific needs, going direct may well turn out to be an extremely expensive exercise.
