Professional Indemnity

Professional Indemnity Insurance covers advice given for a fee.  

It will pay to or on your behalf all the sums which you could become legally liable to pay by way of compensation as a result of a claim both first made against you and notified to your Insurer during the Period of Insurance resulting from an actual or alleged beach of professional duty by you.

It will include your defence costs and any settlement of a claim claim covered by the policy. 

This policy is in most cases offered on a claims made basis.
